Highlight of 2025 and Keeping the Dream Alive! (project) in 2026

Highlight of 2025 and Keeping the Dream Alive! (project) in 2026

My highlight for 2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣5️⃣ was delivering the first Soccology Cup!

This cup is an extension of the Keep The Dream Alive! project. Providing football and educational opportunities that push young people beyond their comfort zone. Exposing them to stress, so they develop resilience and their skills. Contradicting limiting beliefs and boosting a motivation for life. The chances of low mood are lowered when you have a realistic opportunity to achieve your dream.

Some of these boys have gone into professional teams, and others deserve an opportunity to. Some of them had the attitude and approach of professionals. It’s why I’m energised to deliver these types of projects.

The boys travelled from -
* Kent
* London (various)
* Middlesex
* Sussex
* Surrey

To South East London for this 2 month project…

The Soccology squad enjoying our final moments together, after the tournament.

I’m beginning to understand why people think I’m a mentor/football coach 😂 I cannot share information from my main role. Most of my online posts are my way of being agile and providing alternative, accessible and proactive mental health solutions, via my community work.

Thanks to Kevin James for speaking with the boys pre-tournament and giving them tips.

Michael Turner for handing out the medals and speaking with the boys post tournament.

Jerry James Deve for helping me deliver the Keep The Dream Alive! projects.

Ipswich Town FC, Millwall Football Club, Charlton Athletic Football Club and Everyone who helps spread the word, so that young people are aware of Soccology projects.

Next summer, we plan to do another tournament with the inclusion of international teams. The likely age group being U14.

If you work at a club and would like to take part, email admin@soccology.com. If you’re a parent/coach who wants to refer young people, please follow Soccology as announcements will be made there.

If you work in CSR, and would like to support the project please email admin@soccology.com. I’ve been funding these projects, with 20% being donations and for the most recent project parents had to pay for training. Something I’d prefer to avoid as many cannot afford activities for their children.

Happynewyear “Keep Dreaming!”

My soapbox moment! Ha!
